The safari begins with a warm pickup from Kampala or Entebbe by a professional Freundlich Safaris guide. A scenic drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is undertaken for a thrilling on-foot rhino tracking experience. After lunch, the journey continues to Murchison Falls National Park, entering through Kichumbanyobo Gate near Masindi. Upon arrival, guests settle into their lodge and enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by nature.

An early breakfast is followed by a rewarding morning game drive across the Nile Delta region, where elephants, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, buffaloes, and Uganda kobs are frequently sighted. A morning briefing at the park headquarters ushers in an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. The search through Kibale’s dense forest may take 2–5 hours, after which a full hour is spent observing the chimpanzees in their natural surroundings. After lunch, a guided walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary introduces visitors to incredible birdlife and primate species. Later, the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park begins, with arrival in the evening.

The day starts with a game drive across the Kasenyi Plains, a region famous for predator sightings and large herds of elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes. Guests arrive in the evening to unwind and prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

An early start leads to the park headquarters for a briefing on mountain gorilla trekking. Accompanied by experienced rangers, the trek begins through the dense, mist-covered forest. After the trek, guests return to the lodge for relaxation and celebration.
